Francis Leo Marcos, a popular Pinoy Youtuber, was arrested by the officials from the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).
The arrest was made on May 19, and Marcos immediately surrendered and came in for questioning after being served a warrant of arrest. According to ABS-CBN, Marcos was arrested because of a case filed against him in Baguio City.
According to sources, the agency responsible for this case is the NBI Cybercrime Division. NBI officials also took custody of the businessman while his case is pending. He was accused of allegedly violating optometry law in Baguio City.
Meanwhile, no other details about the arrest or the case have been divulged. In several photos from Nikolo Baua of ABS-CBN news, Francis Leo Marcos was seen with the company of his legal representative. He also peacefully complied when he was arrested.
