One of the most popular celebrity couples in the local showbiz scene now is Sarah Geronimo and Matteo Guidicelli.
The two have been together for around three years now and are still going stronger than ever. Still, like any other relationships, they also sometimes face trials that test their love for each other. Recently, rumors spread online that Sarah’s dad, Delfin Geronimo, supposedly had a heated argument with her boyfriend, Matteo.
Although the Popstar Princess’ parents fully support her relationship with the actor, it is evident that both her mom and dad have been strict with her throughout her life.
In fact, it was revealed in a video posted by YouTube user “World Viral” and has also appeared in an article written by columnist Jobert Sucaldito that the singer-actress didn’t get the chance to touch her own money since she has always given her earnings to her parents for safekeeping.
“Nakalipat na nga si Sarah sa isang condo at ang manager niya ang nagbigay sa kanya ng P1 million para makapagsimula. Tuwang-tuwa nga raw si Sarah Geronimo dahil first time niyang magkaroon ng sariling milyones sa hawak niyang ATM,” one of the sources said.
“Hindi naman lingid sa kaalaman natin that Sarah has been deprived of holding on to her money. And in fairness to her, she never complained dahil hindi naman nawaldas ang kanyang pera. Nakabili sila ng bahay at napag-aral niya ang mga kapatid sa ibang bansa.
Pero ngayon, nakapag-isip na rin siya siguro para sa sariling future,” he stated further in the article.
The source added that because of the alleged argument between Sarah’s dad and her boyfriend, the former plans to let his hair grow until Sarah decides to break up with the latter.
“Ang balita ay nagkasagutan daw sina Matteo at Daddy Delfin at hindi maganda ang kinalabasan. Kaya halos isumpa raw ng tatay ni Sarah ang kanyang boyfriend. Kaya meron siyang “advocacy” ngayon, nagpapahaba raw siya ng buhok at hindi raw mapapagupit hangga’t hindi naghihiwalay sina Sarah at Matteo.”
