A year after her split with her now-estranged husband due to his alleged mistress, Sunshine Dizon seemed way too good at clapback revenge. From 37 inches, Sunshine now flaunts a 27-inch waistline and we are all in awe.
On her Instagram account, the “Ika-6 Na Utos” lead female star thanked celebrity surgeon Dr. Vicky Belo for the liposuction treatments and Vcontour for a slimmer, V-shaped face. But apart from the Belo magic, Sunshine also maintains her health and physique by hitting the gym. Now, you wouldn’t initially think that Sunshine is a mom of two.
However, the actress previously took down rumors that her marital problems before were the reasons of her weight loss. In an interview with GMA News, she shared:
“There was a time na I was quite big after two kids. I got so busy with taking care of the family. Everybody thought na kaya ako pumayat, why I look like this right now, is because of what happened between me and my husband. That’s not actually the truth. Maayos naman kami ng asawa ko when we closed the deal for the Belo endorsement. Nagkataon lang talaga lahat. It was a conscious effort and decision on my part. It’s really time to look my best. It’s part of the job—you have to be your best.”
Instead, this new Sunshine aims to become an inspiration to all women out there. She added that she does not prefer to call it “revenge” and that she’s not changing herself for everybody else but for herself.
“[I want to] empower all the women out there. Hindi nila kailangang magmukmok o umiyak. They can do something to better themselves and really push through. Dra. Vicki really wants to empower all women out there, and not only women who are going through what I’m going through. The slogan (“Don’t get mad. Get beautiful.”) is for everybody.”
