Naniniwala si Sen. Mirriam Santiago na Pcos ang nagpanalo kay Vice Leni

On Wednesday, May 11, Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago accused the PNoy administration that they are behind the sudden surge of votes for Camarines Sur Representative Leni Robredo.

Santiago, in support for her running mate, Senator Ferdinand ‘Bong Bong’ Marcos, said in an interview, “The roller coaster ride of vice presidential candidate Ferdinand Marcos Jr. invites comparison with a garrison state. In such a state, the authoritarian government feels free to manufacture numbers as they are needed,” citing the swift surge of the votes for Robredo on the wee hours on Tuesday.
“I find it astounding that Marcos should have led in the vice-presidential surveys for many months, until the penultimate month, when suddenly the administration could jump up survey results to finally overtake him,” Santiago added.
What is more controversial is that Marcos has been a consistent top among all vice presidential candidates for the past two months, only being overtaken by Robredo by 2% on a survey on May 4, 5 days before the election. Coincidentally, that survey has been conducted by Pulse Asia survey and sponsored by the ABS-CBN, a news network that is bashed by most netizens for being bias in favor to the Liberal Party (LP).
Yet, on May 7, Marcos recaptured his lead by 1%.
Last Friday, Marcos warned the people that the vice-presidential race might be LP’s backup plan next to the Roxas’ campaign that has become an utter failure.
He was also annoyed by ABS-CBN’s advertisement tactics to condition the mind of the people that Leni has really surpassed him in the surveys. It came to the point where he himself said that on May 9 it is either he wins or he is cheated.
While Marcos is struggling to transcend in the vice-presidential race over Robredo, his running mate Santiago is in the bottom of the Presidential race, placing herself at the fifth place.
Second placer Mar Roxas and third placer Grace Poe already conceded to Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte, admitting their defeat. While Vice-President Jejomar Binay is still hoping far at the 4th place, giving him an unrealistic win even if all uncounted votes be given to him. It is still not enough to surpass presidential race leader Rodrigo Duterte.
Below is the current standing for Robredo and Marcos as of 2pm today with 95.50% of votes are already transmitted and has been counted.
