Twenty members of the Abu Sayyaf Group ( ASG ) surrendered to the Armed Forces of ther Philippines ( AFP ) in Sumisip, Basilan .
This is confirmed by Western Mindanao Command spokesperson Major Philemon Tan.
According to Tan, the 20 members of the ASG is under the leadership of Abu Sayyaf sub-leader Katatong Balaman alias " Tatting " from the province of Basilan .
Said the ASG surrendered to soldiers of the 104th Brigade , 1st Infantry Division of the Philippine Army under Colonel Thomas C. Donato Jr.
20 Members surrendered ASG has eight high-powered firearms and two locally-made shotguns .
Still the pursuit of military personnel of the bandit group based on the directive of President Rodrigo Duterte .
