OPM icon Freddie Aguilar compared President Duterte’s situation to children. In his analogy, he said that he would rather have a cursing child than one who lies, steals, and pretends.

Some others agree and others disagree. Take a look at some of the comments on his Facebook post.
Cherry Lhynne Roa: “I am a parent of five kids ages 22, 18, 13 and 8. I curse at home. I curse a lot. Not to my kids but to a lot of upsetting things. I even curse when I am surprised, shocked or terrified. But none of my kids do that. They grew up well. So when Duterte, now President is seen and heard by them cursing, wala lang. They don’t mind. My point?
Pira Nelly: “every body swears the president is no exception. our children is our responsibility not others. my God look on radio tv it is most garbage aired by stupid announcers Duterte is second to the Marcos a great leader they should worry about those corrupt leaders some song yellow ribbon? yeah right great poster friend love it”
Rita Maniela: “What a stupid comparison. A child is a child, it is up to you how you can discipline a child on good manners and right conduct. A president is a president. He represents the whole population of a country. Whatever comes out of his mouth and every action that he does will deeply affect the country and its people. If he wants the country to change, it should start from him by leading by example. He is not a kid anymore to be guided and told off all the time regarding his behavior.”
