President Rodrigo Duterte will need to fill two seats at the Supreme Court (SC) once they get to be empty this December.
The Judicial Bar Council (JBC) said that SC Associate Justices Jose Perez and Arturo Brion will resign this December 14 and 29, individually, once they achieve the obligatory retirement age of 70-years of age.
Prior, the JBC booked for meeting this November 16 possibility for the positions, in particular Public Attorney's Office (PAO) boss Acosta, Pasig trial court Judge Rowena Adlawan, Sandiganbayan Justice Samuel Martires, Department of Justice (DOJ) Chief State Counsel Ricardo Paras, Court of Appeals (CA) Justice Noel Tijam and legal counselor Rita Jimeno.
