Suspected drug lord Kerwin Espinosa, son of slain Albuera, Leyte mayor Rolando Espinosa Sr, gave an urgent appeal to President Rodrigo Duterte upon his arrival in Manila Friday morning.

Speaking in a press conference, Espinosa said he is hoping that he will still get the chance to turn his life around.

"Ang hiling ko lang sa ating presidente ay humihingi ako ng tawad kung ano man 'yung nagawa ko dati at sana bigyan n'ya ako ng pagkakataon na magbagong buhay," he said.

(I want to ask forgiveness to our president for whatever I have done in the past. I hope he gives me a chance to turn my life around.)

Espinosa also vowed to reveal the names of those who are involved in the illegal drug trade.

"Itong sitwasyon ko ngayon, na wala na yung papa ko, maaasahan n'ya lahat ng mga involved sa drug trade na nalalaman ko, lalabas silang lahat ang mga pangalan," he added.
