JUST IN : DE LIMA, HINDI NA RAW BABALIK NG BANSA DAHIL BULOK DAW ANG SISTEMA NG DUTERTE ADMIN

Nakaalis na ng bansa si Sen. Leila De Lima para tumanggap ng award sa Amerika. Pero pangamba ng ilan, baka hindi na ito bumalik sa Pilipinas at tuluyan nang magtago.

Ayon naman kay Sen. De lima na babalik siya sa bansa at hindi tatakasan ang mga reklamong iniharap laban sa kanya.

Ito ay kasunod ng nakatakdang pagbiyahe ng senadora patungo sa Amerika at Germany, mula bukas hanggang sa ika–22 ng Disyembre.

Maliban sa pagtanggap ng parangal sa Amerika, nakatakda din si De Lima na magsalita sa taunang conference on cultural diplomacy sa Berlin, Germany

‘After complying with the travel documents required for a public official, I am now preparing to leave on official visits — first to receive an award in the US and secondly, to speak at the Annual Conference on Cultural Diplomacy in Berlin, Germany.

Both visits are very important to me because as a senator, I will have a chance to speak before influential world leaders and global thinkers on raising awareness and support for human rights, an advocacy I am passionate about.

This is a great opportunity to meet leaders from various fields from around the world and learn from their respective government’s initiatives and challenges about cultural diplomacy.
