Sen Trillanes to President Duterte, “Ipapakulong Kita, Hahabulin Kita T@ngin@ Ka”

Sen Trillanes said this Friday, February 24 that he will have President Rodrigo Duterte jailed right after his term. The soldier-turned politician made his very strong statement, shortly after visited Senator Leila de Lima at Camp Crame, where she is now detained. The Liberal Party LP) was arrested on the same day, shortly pass 8 am.

According to Sen Trillanes, Sen. De Lima was in high spirits and her conviction has not wavered. He said he assured the lady senator that the voice of dissent has become louder, noting that her arrest did not scare the critics of the Duterte administration. Nevertheless, he emphasized that he’s not afraid if he will be the next one to get arrested.

“Ako ang susunod? Plano nga nila akong unahin e, pero sige bring it on, do your worst. I am motivated more than ever, mas ginaganahan ako na iexpose itong pagkatao ni President Duterte na siya ay isang mandarambong at mamamatay tao, hindi ako titigil hangga’t hindi namumulat ang sambayanang Pilipino.” Sen Trillanes told reporters.

“Talagang pananagutin natin siya, hahabulin at hahabulin ko siya, hindi ko siya titigilan.” The anti-Duterte senator added, noting that the current administration is now nervious because of the recent change of testimony of Davao City retired cop, SPO3 Arthur Lascañas. He said the Senate hearing on his new statements will be on Thursday.

“Palagay ko diyan sila kinakabahan talaga e, nangangatog na mga tuhod ng mga ito dun sa hearing na gagawin sa Thursday. Malalaman na ng mga kababayan natin kung anong klaseng tao, anong klaseng monster si President Duterte,” Trillanes said further. Ten senators voted for the upcoming Senate inquiry on Lascanas, mostly LP senators.

As we all know, Trillanes was also jailed back in in 2003 for participating in the failed Oakwood mutiny during the time of President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo. Despite being imprisoned, he ran for senator as independent in the 2007 election and won. In 2010, he was released via Proclamation 75, issued by then-President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III.
