Today, many Filipinos try their luck abroad to provide a better life for their family. They even work as waitress/waiter, nanny, and most are housekeepers.
Housekeepers are sometimes being belittled because of what their job description entails. Their duties include vacuuming, dusting, mopping, surface cleaning and kitchen and bathroom details, making sure all assigned areas of the home are clean, neat and tidy.
If only people will get off their high chairs and realize that this is a honorable job.
