ALVAREZ, GUSTONG I-CUT OFF ANG BUDGET NG COMMISSION ON HUMAN RIGHTS

Sinabi ni House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez sa Commission on Human Rights sa panahon ng budget briefing noong Lunes, na icut-off nalang daw ang budget nito dahil lagi nitong pinupuna ang gobyerno na nagbibigay ng pondo sa kanila.

Sa panahon ng House hearing, sinabi ni House Speaker Alvarez na ang pinoprotektahan lamang ng CHR ay ang mga kriminal at hindi ang mga biktima.


"When it comes to police matters, there is no human rights violations, as human rights, that human rights are bad. Because of that, too much influence on international organizations is just human rights of criminals," sabi ni Alvarez

"I do not see any reason for this government to give fund to you. You want to protect the rights of criminals, not victims," ​​dagdag pa nito
