It seems like the alleged online strife between Kapamilya actors Daniel Padilla and Paul Salas is not yet closing its curtains. On Tuesday night, August 15, the Twitter world was set abuzz by netizens as Daniel challenged the latter on a basketball match. This was after a Facebook comment written by Paul which drew flak among the massive fans of the ‘teen king’.
Other celebrities and TV personalities took part in the issue by sharing their own sentiments, such as HotSpot host and MOR DJ Jhaiho. In a thread, the radio jock said backstabbing is foul. Anjo Damiles, Daniel’s friend, also said a similar advice. Another friend of Daniel, Patrick Sugui, and a former Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) teen housemate tweeted, pertaining to Paul, that he and Daniel have that ‘ride or die’ kind of friendship and that he has messed with the wrong person.
Paul’s rumored girlfriend, Barbie Imperial, came to his defense. She defended the actor against bashers and said that she got his back no matter what. Meanwhile, Karla Estrada, Daniel’s mom, did not leave comment over the issue and called for peace instead.
In a more recent news, action star Robin Padilla, Daniel’s uncle, finally spoke out on the issue. Everyone knows that the Padilla men are known for their guts and bad boy attitude.
