World-renowned boxing champ-turned-politician Senator Manny ‘Pacman’ Pacquiao may be a man of few words but he sure communicates well with his fists. Previously, he spoke out against members of the Aegis Juris Fraternity who were involved in the hazing-induced death of freshman law student Horacio Castillo III.
The senator challenged the errant fraternity brothers to a fist-fight, even saying that he would gladly take them all on at the same time.
Recently, Abante Tonite reported that Manny Pacquiao has once again used his fists to do the talking.
One of Senator Pacquiao’s bodyguards reportedly acted disrespectfully towards Beverly Ann Sotto, one of the many nieces of Senator Tito Sotto III.
Beverly recounted the story to Sen. Sotto, who was immediately approached by Sen. Pacquiao. When Pacman heard the story, he said that he would punch his bodyguard to teach him a lesson.
Beverly recalled that the incident happened on September 4, 2017, inside an elevator reserved for VIPs. She neglected to mention where exactly this incident took place.
She narrated that when she alighted ion the sixth floor, it was just her and a female elevator attendant in the elevator.
When the elevator reached the fifth floor, Sen. Pacquiao and his bodyguards entered. One of them positioned himself right in front of Beverly. The senator and his bodyguards alighted on the second floor.
The bodyguard in front of Beverly immediately moved backward, which resulted in Beverly being trapped. Her feet were also stepped on. The man also raised his hand which further restricted Beverly’s movements.
After the incident Beverly complained to her tito, Sen. Sotto, about Sen. Pacquiao’s inconsiderate bodyguard. Sen. Sotto said in an interview:
“Sinumbong ko kay Pacquiao. Sabi ko pagalitan mo na lang. Sabi eh, hindi. Hindi pwedeng pagalitan ko ito, sabi nya uumbagin ko ito. Sinikmuraan. Maghapon daw na hindi nakakain. Ayun nakatikim.”
The errant bodyguard was speculated to be a certain “Noel,” who was enlisted in the Philippine Army.
