Following the pregnancy rumors surrounding James Reid and Nadine Lustre (for the second time around), the on and off screen lovers fired back through a goofy video clip.
James’ sister, Lauren Reid, recently published an Instagram story on her account during the family dinner. Also, Nadine was invited by James’ kin.
In the video, Lauren can be heard telling James to spill the ‘good news.’ James Reid then responded, “Yes it’s true. I’m… pregnant.”
Nadine and James’ dad Daddy Malcolm can be heard having a conversation in the background.
Daddy M asked Nadine, “So, darling, do you have any idea if you’re having a boy?”
Nadine then answered, “I’m not pregnant.”
Daddy M then jokingly replied back, “Timing. And you should be within the next month.”
The young actress then let out a big laugh.
Lauren then published another clip wherein Nadine was seen touching James’ tummy.
The pregnancy gossip apparently spread like wildfire after James tweeted, “Today my world changed.” Coincidentally, it was during the time Nadine was confined to a hospital as she was diagnosed with Dengue infection.
But netizens were quick to speculate that the actor’s social media post did not just happen by chance. And the rest of the story goes.
This was actually not the first time that the couple found themselves under pregnancy rumors. Earlier this year, Nadine and James were also subjected to the same controversy.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Nadine jested, “Hindi ko po alam. Baka pagkain lang po ‘yung nasa loob ng tiyan ko.”
When asked how she deals with the online haters who spread fake news, she said it depends.
“Depende. May times na dedma. May times talaga na kailangan mag-speak up ka,” the actress said.
