After being labeled as “mayabang,” the pseudo-celebrity just crashed into a much bigger problem: Karla Estrada, the mother of Daniel Padilla and staunch supporter of her son’s loveteam partner and rumored girlfriend, Kathryn Bernardo.
A viral video that was uploaded on various social media platforms featured a disembodied voice allegedly belonging to Xander saying unfavorable things about Kathryn Bernardo. Although the video did not exactly show Xander’s face, many netizens still believe it to be him. The unseen speaker, who has a baritone voice similar to the man formerly known as Marlou Arizala, went on to bash the “La Luna Sangre” star’s legs, calling them “sakang” or bow-legged.
In the viral video, the voice allegedly belonging to Xander could be heard saying:
“Ipinu-promote ko nga pala ung palabas naming La Luna Sangre. Spoiler po talaga ko at gusto ko lang ibunyag na yung lobong ginagampanan dun ni Kathryn Bernardo ay sakang po yun.”
“Kaya sa mga naniniwalang gustong mag-#1 FHM model si Kathryn Bernardo, huwag na po kayong umasa. Never pa kong nakakita ng sexy na sakang ang paa.”
On his official Facebook page, the former Hasht5 member denied that it was him in the viral clip. He also clarified that he is a fan of the KathNiel loveteam, especially Kathryn, regardless of what other people think.
However, rabid KathNiel fans think otherwise, utterly convinced that it was Xander Ford who said those negative statements directed at their idol. Recently, the social media pseudo-celebrity has received significant public backlash over the perceived attitude problem that he has developed after his cosmetic transformation.
Queen Mother Karla Estrada, who’s known to be quite level-headed, only had this to say about the issue:
“Magtu-tweet din ako Dom about that issue. Maikli lang naman sasabihin ko tungkol diyan.”
