Scientists make new discoveries everyday – from events that happen in the universe to entirely undiscovered types of animal species. It’s an ongoing process to help mankind better understand it’s environment and it’s place in the galaxy. Recently, rumors circulated online that a cat-like creature with a human face was discovered lurking in the woods of Western Malaysia.
In the past few weeks, several video footage and photos showing the cat-like creature made rounds online. Locals were frightened at the alarming photos of said creature which spread like wildfire on social media. Many people who saw these pictures were dumbfounded and raised many questions to it’s validity.
From neck down to the torso, it resembles a typical cat. It is a four-legged creature with a furless skin and sharp claws on its paws. It looks like the mythical sphinx. You’ll be shocked to see its terrifying face!
It looks like evolution had a hard time deciding on this creature’s features because instead of a cat’s head, a human-like face sits between its shoulders. The creature’s head, which is abnormally large for its tiny body, resembles an infant but with fangs.
According to a report published in Daily Mail, the creature was allegedly found in the Pahang Province. Due to its oddity, rumors claim that the creature is currently held at a laboratory in an unknown location.
To quash the rumors, local authorities were forced to deny the existence of any cat-like creature with a human face.
Datuk Rosli Abdul Rahman, chief of local police, claimed that the creature is non-existent and only a product of a well-executed and elaborate hoax.
“Checks revealed the images were downloaded from the internet before it was shared on social media, claiming that the discovery was made in Pahang.
I hope the public will stop circulating news about the alleged discovery.”
Furthermore, Malaysian police insisted that no sighting or discovery of the creature was ever verified nor reported.
On the other hand, several sources online reported that the cat-like creature bore resemblance with a silicon toy being sold online. “Baby werewolf silicone” are currently being sold on several social media sites such as Facebook as well.
People can’t help but form their speculations about this creature. Check out some of their insights below:
