Is there an ongoing feud between Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera and Kapamilya actress Cristine Reyes? These past few days, rumors have been circulating online that the latter allegedly snubbed the former during the grand premiere night of much-anticipated movie “Seven Sundays” on October 10, Tuesday.
The premiere night was attended by many well-recognized names in showbiz, including its main casts such as Aga Muhlach, Cristine Reyes, Enrique Gil, and Ronaldo Valdez. Dingdong Dantes is also one of the main casts in the movie.
To support her husband, Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera attended the premiere night. It was during the said event that the alleged snubbing incident with Cristine Reyes took place.
A video was released on social media wherein Marian Rivera could be seen being ‘ignored’ by Cristine.
In the short clip uploaded on Youtube, Cristine Reyes can be seen roaming around the seats while greeting various celebrities. At this moment, Marian Rivera can be spotted sitting only a few chairs away from her. When Cristine passed by Marian’s place, the Kapuso Primetime Queen can be seen with an expectant expression on her face.
However, Cristine just passed by and seem to not notice Marian.
Upon watching the video, many fans and supporters of Marian Rivera online were upset at Cristine’s treatment to their idol. Some of them even bashed Cristine Reyes on social media.
To settle the matter once and for all, the Kapuso Primetime Queen herself admitted that the video shows only one side of the story.
Marian denied the allegations that Cristine ignored her. As a matter of fact, the 33-years old Kapuso actress said in an interview with Bandera that Cristine greeted her, but it was apparently not caught on camera.
“Nagulat nga ako. Sabi nila hindi ako pinansin (ni Cristine)! Hindi totoo! Hinintay niya muna na batiin ang mga boss ng ABS-CBN. Then nakita niya ako. ‘Uy, Yan, kumusta ka na?’ Tapos may sinabi siya sa akin na nagustuhan ko, na natuwa ako. Okey kami.”
During an ambush interview while taping her primetime series “Super Ma’am”, Marian was shocked to find out that Cristine has been a victim of online bashing after the incident.She insisted that she and Cristine Reyes is in good terms so there’s no need to bash Cristine because the accusations were unfounded.
