Calling someone just to prank them is a risky business. No matter how long you have known the person, one wrong dial on the number could make you susceptible to angry rants and remarks. Unfortunately, this is what Xander Ford, formerly known as Marlou Arizala, experienced. Talk about some spicy backfire.
Xander Ford attempted to prank call someone on-air but he mistakenly got in line with someone else. As expected, the results were not pleasant. It was caught on video, where it was uploaded by the Facebook page “Hayop Sa Galing.” As of this writing, it has gained 462,000 views, 11,000 reactions, 6,332 shares, and around 2,100 comments.
Xander was in a booth when he got connected to a phone line. This is how the conversation went:
Xander: Hello?
Social media artist.
The caller repeated his name and said, “Ah, ikaw ‘yung mayabang na pangit, dati?”
Xander’s expression turned sad and he said, “Hindi naman po.”
The caller was on a roll. “Ikaw ‘yung pangit dati na mayabang ngayon. Porket pumogi ka lang nang onti…”
The young man denied the accusations and repeated, “Hindi naman po…”
By that time, you could see the disappointment etched on his face. The caller continued, “Eh, nanggigigil ako sa iyo eh, mayabang kang bata ka eh.”
“Sana po ‘di na…” Xander said but the caller immediately cut him off.
