Take for example chicken pox. There is a vaccine for chicken pox but none has been completely effective of getting rid of it. What this vaccine does is limit the symptoms of the illness such as itching, decreasing the number of blisters that could appear all over the body, and hastening the healing process.
Now, chicken pox normally takes at least 3 to 4 weeks to completely heal. One child, however, who got infected with chicken pox got the worst of it.
Baby King was infected with the viral disease on April 2017. His mother, Marites Reblando Alvarez Borlagdan normally thought that the blisters appearing all over her child’s body was just a case of chicken pox since it is common every summer.

A few days after, she noticed that the blisters were turning red, which is uncommon for chicken pox, and that her child’s fever hasn’t gotten any better.

She immediately rushed King to a nearby hospital where King was then confined.
As the days passed, King’s mystery illness suddenly got worse. The blisters turned into large boils which bleed every time they burst.
The boils eventually left deep marks all over the poor child’s body, causing extreme pain for him. He couldn’t even wear a shirt since it would only stick to the open wounds.
According to a post by Facebook user Princess Sam, the illness is actually a blood infection that strikes infants.
