Not many people know this but it was Piolo Pascual who actually introduced Alex Gonzaga to her boyfriend Mikee Morada.
Alex is well known for her hosting and acting prowess, as well as being the younger sister of Toni Gonzaga. The Gonzaga's are the unofficial good girls of showbiz-- they're not shy about their beliefs and are not the type to bounce around from boyfriend to boyfriend.
That's why for a while, everyone was buzzing about who Alex might be dating. The young host has made it very clear that she won't date just for the sake of having someone; she believed that the person she will date will be for keeps and will be her future husband.
This is where Piolo's introduction comes in. According to a video posted by Youtube channel, TRENDZ NEWS, it was Papa P who connected the two to each other. And their source? None other than Alex herself!
In the video, Alex could be seen in some sort of sporting event. She pans the camera to herself and then to Mikee, saying "Mikee, siya yung nagpakilala sa'tin." And then she panned the camera to Piolo, who quickly said, "pinaka malaking pagkakamali ko'ng pinakilala sa'yo."
Obviously, the award winning actor was kidding but the couple also kidded him back. They teased that they will make him their ninong should they ever wed. To which Piolo reacted, "ang kapal ng mukha mo!"
This might be referring to the fact that ninongs are thought to be old, as they are supposed to guide the couple through their married life. Papa P must have reacted this way as he isn't that old yet.
Whatever the case, the video seemed to be taken in good fun.
