Breaking News! Nahuli na sa Cotabato City ang iba pang mga suspek sa Davao Bombing

Authorities on Saturday arrested four more suspects in the Davao bombing incident that killed 14 people and injured 70 others last September 2.

In a news release, the Philippine Army said the four arrested suspects, reportedly members of the Dawla Islamiya Fi Cotabato–Maute Group are:

Mohammad Lalaog Chenikandiyil also known as Datu Boi;
Jackson Mangulamas Usi also known as Abu Mansor/Jam;
Zack Villanueva Lopez also known as Haron, and
Ansan Abdulla Mamasapano also known as Abu Hamsa.
The four arrested suspects are now under the custody of the local Philippine National Police.

The army said the search warrant, for violation of RA 10591 (Comprehensive Law on Firearms and Ammunition), was issued by Honorable Banzawan Ibrahim of the Cotabato Regional Trial Court.

Seized during the operaiton were a cal .45 pistol with a defaced serial number, chamber loaded with an ammunition; one cal .38 pistol with serial number: 12899593; six rounds, ammo for cal .45; five rounds ammo for cal .38; one piece of magazine assembly for cal .45; a handheld radio with charger; five boxes of ammo for 5.56mm firearm; three pieces of 60mm mortar improvised explosive devices; one piece of 105mm howitzer improvised explosive device, and a hand grenade.

The operation was conducted by joint elements from the AFP, PNP and NICA in two separate locations: Southern Philippine Development Authority (SPDA) Compound and Barangay Rosary Heights 7, both in Cotabato City.

Information about the hideouts were relayed by an action agent and verified after the arrest last Oct. 4 of the three suspects in the Davao bombing incident.

The three bombing suspects earlier arrested were TJ Tagadaya Macabalang, Wendel Factural, and Musaili Mustapha.

Reports claim that more than a dozen personalities were involved in the Davao bombing.

“We will not stop until all involved in the Davao bombing incident last September are put in jail,” said Lt. Gen. Eduardo M. Año, the Army commander. “The Army will continue haunting other terrorists for the protection of the public and to serve justice.”  — VVP, GMA News
