SEN. BAM AQUINO: PAGKAIN NG LEFT OVER FOODS, INIHAIN NA SA KAMARA

Under Senate Bill 357 (AN ACT PROVIDING FOR A SYSTEM OF REDISTRIBUTING AND RECYCLING FOOD WASTE TO PROMOTE FOOD SECURITY) or Zero Food Waste Act in the beginning of 17th Congress.
The 2 reasons why these bill must pass is to end the growing problem in poverty and hunger.

The measures laid to end food wasting in the supermarket, restaurant in their excess unserve foods to food-distribution charities or “food banks” and deliver it to the nearest well needed family in the area.

There's nothing to worry especially to those who will receive the food from the program. The National Zero Food Waste Scheme are in-charge, in the presence of Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).

The bill was recently approved in some countries like Japan, Italy, South Korea, Malaysia and France.
