Following the plastic surgery rumors hounding the Kapamilya actress, Arci Muñoz finally has a message to those who have “so much time” to speculate and feast on her looks.
“It’s my life, my rules,” Arci said.
“I’m just really amazed like how people have so much time, ‘no? They have so much time to do things like this. And I just really don’t give—you know it already,” she added.
According to the Arci, she does not check her online accounts often as she is not really fond of using social media. When asked if she either confirms or denies the issue, she said, “Deny? No, never, what’s wrong with that? As if naman I committed a crime.”
The “Can We Still Be Friends” star also stated that she is not bothered by the rumors and online bashings.
Netizens also gave their remarks with regard to her statement.
Several weeks ago, Arci found herself on the hit list when photos of herself, depicting an alleged change on her face—particularly, with her nose—circulated on the web. Netizens suspected that the sexy actress went under the knife.
The controversy earned mixed reactions from the people online. Many social media users criticized her for this transformation, claiming that her supposed change is botched. Amid the hate, some still took the side of Arci and stated that she has the right to do it as it is her own body.
In her defense, Arci said she is really happy with more than what her physical appearance bears. She also shared that she thickens her lips intentionally.
“I’m just really happy. I think more than the physical appearance, it’s the inside. Personally, I’m not against it. It’s my body. And whatever’s gonna make me feel more comfortable and more confident sa aking sarili, I’ll do it,” she told PEP.
“E, nagpapakapal naman talaga ako ng lips kasi. Nilalagpasan ko yung lipstick ko eh. If I remove my lagpas lipstick, I’d probably look the same. I’ll probably look like a Grade 6 student,” she added.
