Xander Ford Hinamon si Empoy Kung Sino Ang Mas Gwapo Sa Kanila

Marlou Arizala has certainly come a long way from his Hasht5 days. Now, he’s asking the public to embrace the new him with his selected screen name, Xander Ford. With the name change (although not officially nor legally) comes a drastic appearance change as well.

From his pockmarked-filled face comes a smooth and flawless-free skin that is sure to win the ladies’ hearts

In his official Facebook page, Xander compared himself to rising rom-com leading man Empoy Marquez and asked who was the more handsome one between them.

Empoy, just like Xander, does not have the conventional good looks that mainstream love stories and television shows portray.

In fact, when he and Alessandra de Rossi were paired in the indie film “Kita Kita,” lots of people were in awe of their onscreen chemistry that immediately looked natural and believable.

According to a report by Trending News Portal, Xander posted a picture of himself side-by-side Empoy.

What did Empoy think about this? Would he also resort to cosmetic surgery to “fix his appearance” and make it more “conventional?”

In an interview with Abante Tonite, as quoted by the source, Empoy said the following:

“Hindi po, hindi po… hindi po pumasok sa isip ko ‘yung ganu’n, e. Hindi po, hindi po… hindi po pumasok sa isip ko ‘yung ganu’n, e.”

Empoy said that he never wished to change his appearance, even in the past. According to him, he is very much contented with how he looks like, society’s standards be damned.

His tandem with Alessandra was so successful that there rumors that the most popular leading men today are jealous of him. In fact, Empoy has another movie in the works – “The Barker,” where he would be paired with Shy Carlos, another beauty.

What did Empoy say about these so-called leading men being jealous of him? The actor said:

“Hindi naman po, kasi siguro sa ngayon po, na¬tutuwa po sila sa akin. Mga kaibigan ko naman po halos ang mga leading men.”
