Following the recent updates about Isabel Granada’s condition, her ex-husband, Jericho Aguas, has recently flown to Doha, Qatar to check up on her condition. Just last week, Jericho gave an update about Isabel’s health, informing the public that the veteran actress will hopefully wake up any day now. Isabel’s mother, Mommy Guapa, has also stated that her daughter is stable and can respond to conversations through hand gestures.
Jericho flew to Doha on the early morning of Tuesday. He met with Vice Consul Benjamin Celedio and Labor Attache David Des Dican at the airport, and then went straight to Hamad General Hospital where his ex-wife is currently being confined.
As of this writing, Isabel Granada is still unconscious. Mommy Guapa and Jericho’s son with Isabel, Hubert Aguas, arrived in Doha before him.
Jericho, in a previous statement, shared the good news that Isabel’s blood pressure has dropped to normal levels. In a Facebook post, Jericho said:
“That’s a good sign. The normal heart beat daw is 60 to 100. God performs miracles. Continue praying… Malapit na hong magkamalay si Isabel…”
Mommy Guapa, on the other hand, previously addressed and debunked false rumors about her daughter’s condition which had been circulating online. She clarified that Isabel did not undergo any surgery contrary to the rumors. She told Abante Tonite:
“Sabi kasi sa akin ng isang doctor na kaklase ni Isa, hindi naman daw lahat ng mga nagkakaroon ng aneurysm, inooperahan. Dine-drain lang (ang dugo). Hindi raw lahat dumadaan sa operation. Sana nga, hindi na operahan si Isa. Sana gumaling nga ang anak ko.”
In other news, a healing mass for Isabel was held at the Holy Rosary Parish church in Doha. Aside from Isabel’s friends and relatives, many fans of the veteran actress were also in attendance to express their prayers and support for her fast recovery.
