There are a few talented artists out there who have experienced fame but have choses to live simpler lives. Some have opened their own businesses while others opted to migrate abroad. One such celebrity is Marinel Santos.
You might remember this talented woman from the singing competition “Star in a Million” where she battled famous singers like Erik Santos and Christian Bautista. Although Marinel failed to win the coveted title, there is no doubt that she possesses a powerful and dynamic voice.
This talent was yet again proven when Marinel was asked to belt out a song using a mall’s karaoke machine. In a video uploaded on Youtube, she was seen singing the “Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin” in a mall karaoke machine.
As soon as she opened her mouth, mallgoers couldn’t help but be captivated by her voice. Marinel effortlessly performed the difficult song and everyone could see that she was having fun performing. The impromptu vocal number seemed like a sold-out concert with the way Marinel was singing. It somehow makes you wish that she should have continued her singing career.

But Marinel is now living in Macau, China and has just came back to the Philippines for a vacation. At least, she gave us a performance to remember.
