Kapamilya singer Gary Valenciano, more popularly known as “Mr. Pure Energy,” is finally recovering against his battle with cancer! In his recent vlog on Instagram, the Kapamilya singer shared that he is finally cancer-free. However, he is still going back to the hospital for routine check-ups and examinations. He updated his fans about his progress in his latest vlog.
“The testing is supposed to detemrine if everything is okay inside, or if anything has tried to make its way back into my body since 2018. I’m believing I’m okay,” shares the singer, who continues to have a positive mindset over his illness. In addition to this, he also inspired other people who are going through the same situation.

Gary V reminded his fans to be hopeful and always trust the Lord’s will. In his video, he showed himself preparing for the examinations before he arrived at the hospital.
“I just wanted to share this with those of you who may have had to encounter things like this, dealing with the big C. But don’t fear, through it all, there’s a bigger C. That’s Christ, who’s with us. Whether we are no we’re going through anything, He’s always with us. I’m good, thank God I’m good.”
In 2019, the Kapamilya singer claimed that he was free of cancer. After a year of recovery from his heart bypass surgery, Gary V is finally recuperating.
Many fans worried about his health, but throughout the ordeal, Gary V made sure to stay positive and also to update his fans on social media.
It was way back in 2018 when Gary V revealed that a malignant tumor was detected in one of his kidneys.
This was just a few months after he went through a bypass procedure in May of the same year. Back then, he was also battling against Type 1 diabetes.
