Exclusive Kapuso talent Lovi Poe surprised everyone when she appeared as guest on ABS-CBN’s “Tonight with Boy Abunda” (TWBA) last Friday night.
The actress was there to promote her new movie, “Woke Up Like This,” with It’s Showtime co-host, Vhong Navarro. The big screen project is under Regal Films, which is not affiliated with any TV network.
During the interview, host Boy Abunda asked the real score between Poe and Chris Johnson, her Filipino-French Instagram “buddy.” She coyly replied, “What you see is what you get.”
The rumored couple are often spotted together– hiking, surfing, and scuba diving. A quick glance in their respective social media accounts confirms this.
Despite the apparent closeness, Poe still insists on her alone time.
“I really love my space. I need my alone time. I think that I’m the kind of person who thinks the way you love me is to make me feel free,” she told Boy Abunda.
The young star also gamely replied in TWBA’s Fast Talk, wherein she quickly answered the round of questions on food, drinks, relationships, and sexiest part of the body. Poe says she wants to get married in Amalfi coast in Italy and when Tito Boy segued to when, she replied, “No definite date!”
The actress also thinks that her leading man’s humor is what makes him sexier than he already is. And what about the sexiest part of Chris? “His eyes,” she gushed.
According to a reliable source, the surprise guesting was directly handled by Regal. Since the movie’s TV rights are owned by ABS-CBN, the management of GMA 7 allowed Poe’s appearance.
